Milliam Phiri is beaming with pride at how well her orange-fleshed sweet potato vines are growing.
Her first year involved with the project, Milliam said, “This is more than just a crop. It is a way to nourish my family and my community.”
Her dedication will pay off in the next couple of months when it is time to harvest the sweet potatoes.
