One might assume that Lifeson and Mary have been together for years but when we visited them to see their fruit trees, they surprised us when they said they had only been married for five years.
Lifeson said, “We met after our respective partners had died and moved in together not long after. We are happy.”
Between them they have 11 children and 35 grandchildren. Mary said, “We have great grandchildren too but there are too many to count.”
