Meet Chigwira Community Club. This is their first year raising seedlings and they are grateful to have successfully raised 800 seedlings including paw paw, guava, avocado, topi topi, tangerine, passionfruit, and orange.
Their members range from 25 to 60 years old and this predominantly female group work well together to ensure everyone’s skills are utilised.
They have grown vegetables too so that they could start a chicken business from the money raised. So far they have raised and sold 20 chickens and now have a further 30 chicks.
