At 56, Meckson Phiri from Kapalapata Village, has seen many farming seasons come and go but this year feels different.
In her hands are bundles of improved orange-fleshed sweet potato vines as Meckson is one of our beneficiaries of our Sweet Potato Project this year. She smiled as she looked toward her 10 bundles and said “My grandchildren will taste something sweet and strong.”
