Welcome to Tree Tuesday. The planting season is well underway so it’s time to introduce you to some farmers.
Please meet Mr. Mguntha. He has 1,560 tree seedlings to plant out. His wife and eight children are helping him and although it is his first time planting with Ripple Africa, he has planted trees before.
He said, “I am very happy and grateful for the arrival of this organisation. Much of the land is bare, and we have long lacked the support that this organisation has now provided. This initiative will help our community restore much of the bare land and contribute to replacing the lost vegetation cover.”
