Meet Chimwemwe. She is a mother of three, and now cooks for her husband and children on her fuel-efficient cookstove.
Known locally as a Changu Changu Moto, Chimwemwe has only had her cookstove for two weeks but has already seen that the cookstove uses less firewood and food cooks quicker!
Previously, whilst using a traditional three stone fire, she needed three bundles of wood a week. Now, with her cookstove, she only uses one bundle a week. This saves her hours spent collecting wood and helps forest conservation!
