Ripple Africa Founder Geoff Furber and Corporate Partnerships Manager Nikki Khoram have been reunited with the teams in Malawi after almost two years.
When the pandemic started in March 2020, the UK team were unable to travel to Malawi and although teams on both sides of the world were disappointed, Force Ngwira, our Country Director, continued to manage and motivate his teams brilliantly, all of whom work tirelessly to run Ripple Africa’s environmental projects.
Morton Banda and Dan Shaba, our General Manager and Assistant Manager respectively, also continued to manage and run the Education and Healthcare projects. This included new building projects and overcoming the challenges that Government restrictions placed on these projects.

Now almost two years on, Geoff and Nikki are excited to be back and already this week have visited the tree planting team to see how things are progressing.
Since the pandemic, the Malawian teams have been providing case studies and photos for us to share with our donors and supporters. However, they are now looking forward to a few weeks off now that Nikki is here!
In November, our UK General Manager Pam Haigh and Trustee Toby Milton will be joining the team in Malawi.
