Meet Prosper Nyirenda, he is one year old. He has athetoid cerebral palsy which affects his movement.
He has been attending one of our Disability and Rehabilitation groups where Loveness provides physiotherapy for him – and many others. Whilst waiting for their turn, Prosper and his friends play with toys provided for the group.
The groups provide clients with physio and rehabilitation support as well as a space for parents to build a community.
Clients are often referred to Loveness by the health centres, schools or other members of the community. Loveness then makes an assessment and creates a therapy plan including exercises to be done at home by the client with the support of their family.
