It turns out it’s quite tricky trying to capture photos of the baby chambo fish swimming around in breeding areas but a little patience and we managed to film this short clip to share with you.
It is so important for Beach Village Committees to protect these incredible breeding areas as they provide the perfect home to baby fish to grow and hide from predators.
As the breeding areas are protected, it’s not only fish that enjoy living here. During this boat trip we spotted a little turtle and the fishermen reminded us of the many crocodiles that also call this place home. Learn more about the project here.
