It’s the last day of term for the 2020/21 Academic Year here in Malawi and the students and teachers are looking forward to six weeks off before the new academic year begins in January.
Due to school closures as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the Ministry of Education amended the term dates to ensure pupils didn’t miss out on learning time.
Today also marks World Toilet Day so as students prepare to enjoy some time off from their studies, our building team are preparing to start digging toilets for one of our pre-schools.
Their last toilet collapsed during flash floods earlier this year but we now have funding thanks to a generous Trust.
