It has been a few months but we are proud that the classroom block we were building at Kapanda Community Day Secondary School is finished and in use. The builders, painters and carpenters have worked really hard, as always, to get this classroom finished and the Form One students much prefer it to the temporary outside classroom that they were using.
Initially, when the school opened, it had one class for each year group but enrolment figures are increasing and this year there are two classes of Form One’s. As time goes on, this will see each year group have two classes – and with that comes the need for more classrooms in the future. For now though, these students can get on with their studies in a suitable and purpose-built classroom.
Our builders aren’t having a rest either as they are now building a new pre-school…more on that soon!
