This International Women’s Day, we are proud to launch a menstrual cup fundraiser! In May, Nikki and Madison will walk 23km across London bridges to raise funds for our Menstrual Cup project.
Every £10 raised provides a cup that lasts up to 10 years, supporting girls and women for the long term.
In Malawi, many girls face challenges managing menstruation due to limited access to affordable and sustainable period products. This leads to missed school days, reduced participation in daily activities, and health risks associated with using unhygienic alternatives.
Some girls were even engaging in sexual activities to earn money to buy sanitary pads so they did not have to miss school. Therefore, the introduction of menstrual cups is so important.
If you’d like to support schoolgirls and women in rural Malawi, please click here to support their walk. Thank you.
