It’s all change here in the RIPPLE Africa UK office. We sadly said goodbye to Charlie at the end of December as he has moved down to London. Charlie initially volunteered with RIPPLE then worked for us in Malawi and then in the UK for nearly four years. We are sorry to see Charlie go but are delighted that he will continue his involvement as a Trustee.
Pam who has been working with us as a part-time Trust Fundraiser has stepped into the full-time role of UK General Manager and will continue to manage funding bids whilst also running our UK office. Pam has many years of experience of fundraising and charity management and is passionate about the work that RIPPLE Africa is doing in Malawi and we are so excited to have Pam in this role.
We are really pleased to welcome Nikki Luxford who is our Project and Volunteer Coordinator and will be involved in fundraising and PR. Nikki has moved to the UK from Spain where she was a Journalist for Costa Blanca News for nine years. After volunteering with RIPPLE for seven months, Nikki made such a great contribution that she is now working full-time! She has a really exciting opportunity for ex-volunteers coming up so watch this space!
We are a small team in the UK but we have heaps of passion and dedication.
