Earlier this Term outgoing Form 4 students received their Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) results.
In the top 10 students were two female students and the pupil taking top spot was Kennedy Phiri with 15 points followed by Rock Wisley with 16 points. The Top 10 students scored 25 points or less which is a great achievement, and several are expected to go on to further education.
The combined pass rate for Day and Open School students was 57%. This is an improvement on last year, and the subjects which saw improved results were Chemistry and Maths.
William Munthali, a teacher who taught at Kapanda CDSS until summer 2025 said, “The Science Department performed well with 15 students achieving a distinction in Chemistry. We thank Ripple Africa for the support in providing science equipment and chemicals.”
There were 14 students who achieved a distinction in Maths too.
