Loveness visited Kande Primary School to provide awareness training to students and teachers on disabilities in schools.
When students learn about different types of disabilities, communication styles, and accessibility needs, it builds empathy and normalises differences. That kind of environment makes it far more likely that disabled students participate confidently and stay in school.
For teachers, the impact is just as important. Awareness training can give them practical tools – like adapting lesson delivery, recognising less visible disabilities, and creating more flexible classroom environments.
It also helps shift mindset from seeing disability as a limitation to understanding it as part of a diverse learning community.
