It’s getting hotter and hotter in Malawi but the forest conservation committees are hard at work. Here’s the Chibisa Forest Conservation Committee smiling as they head for lunch after a morning of hard work making a firebreak.

Hope, one of the Project Coordinator’s said, “We are near the top of the hill making fire breaks to avoid the transfer of fire from one area to another. This helps protect the trees.”
