Another milestone for Hendricks.
This little boy shows nothing but grit and determination. Born with spina bifida and club foot, Hendricks has had several operations and has been supported by our Disabilities and Rehabilitation project since he was a baby.
After years of hard work he is now walking unaided. The next step is improving his balance but he is so excited that he’ll be able to walk to school instead of being carried or going in his wheelchair.
We welcome overseas physiotherapists who support our wonderful team, Matilda and Loveness, on the ground. Well done and thank you to everyone who has played a part in Hendricks journey so far. And the biggest well done to Hendricks himself.
