Vic Longwe is extremely happy that she can access clean water near her home again.
This borehole broke almost six months ago and Vic and the local community had to walk almost an hour to the nearest working borehole to access safe water. Not only the walking there and back but they would spend hours queuing too.
Vic said, “I am very happy that Ripple Africa helped repair this borehole as now I have a very short distance to walk to get water for my family. Each day I collect seven 20 litre buckets so we can drink, cook and bathe with it. My grandchildren help me after school.”
