Caroline and Maurice are two of the happiest children despite the challenges facing them. Caroline was born with cerebral palsy and Maurice, her uncle, had cerebral malaria. They live in a beautiful area up in the hills with their families who are subsistence farmers.
Over the years they have benefited from corner seats and wheelchairs which they love as they enjoy being able to see what the rest of their siblings and relatives are doing.
Recently the team made a sleep system for Caroline and on the day we delivered it, we brought Solider along with us from the fuel-efficient cookstove project as their old Changu Changu Moto had broken and they needed help building a new one. Maurice loved watching his Mum and Soldier at work!
