France Musi Chikangawa is from Kajombo area in Mzimba District. He started planting pine trees with Ripple Africa three years when we introduced the project in his area. This year he is raising another 1,400 seedlings.
Speaking about the project, Mr Chikangawa said, “At first, I thought the project was just about putting seedlings in the ground but later I realised that it is about knowledge and restoration.
“I am grateful for the frequent visits from my Tree Planting Coordinator. I visit my woodlots to check on the trees and I enjoy feeling the fresh air through the trees.”
