In the summer holidays we welcomed a family returning to Malawi for their second trip. During their stay, 11-year-old Charlotte accompanied our Volunteer and Visitor Coordinator, Kaitlin, on various project visits and Charlotte was eager to get stuck in and help at pre-school.
Charlotte said, “The children in Malawi are impressive! They get up every day, bright and early, to help around the house, come to school, and give it their all. They show enthusiasm and are always laughing! They congratulate each other each time they get questions correct, with a dance and song, and help when answers are wrongs. They couldn’t be better!”
