Charity Tembo is a Community Volunteer (CV) on the fuel-efficient cookstove project and it isn’t hard to see how she motivates other women in her community to use and maintain their cookstoves, known locally as a Changy Changu Moto.
She said, “I love it because it saves me time when cooking, it uses less firewood, and it is safer so I don’t worry about the children entering the kitchen. Other women in the village feel the same about their Changu Changu Moto.”
