Seeds are germinating

Tree farmers are starting to see the first of their seeds germinating. After working hard to build the tree nursery shades, fill the pots and sow the seeds, they are happy to see that their hardwork is being rewarded.

In the coming months the tree nurseries will be full of thousands of seedlings, all growing strong ahead of being planted out during the rainy season.

The hardwork is not over for the farmers though. They have to continue caring for the seedlings and then prepare their land before planting them out.

Did you know that for every tree planted, we protect three in an existing forest?
