Teaching volunteer Carolyn has been supporting local children once a week to learn to read and be creative.
Some of the children have been enjoying looking at books and practising their English whilst the artists in the group have been drawing inspiration from the books – no pun intended!
Pen and paper has been provided but many of the children prefer using sand. This is something that they have been doing since pre-school as often during group work, the children learn to write numbers and letters in the sand. How brilliant is this sand drawing!
