Child sits outside school in Malawi

Swinging into Ripple Africa Week

We’re swinging straight into Ripple Africa Week. These little girls all attend one of our pre-schools in Malawi and not only do they have incredible upper body strength but are full of excitement to be at pre-school.

In between lessons, the children relish in play time whether kicking a ball about, playing Cat Cat Dog or improvising like they are here!

This week aims to raise awareness and funds for the 150,000 school meals we provide a year whilst providing an early years education. In the future we’d love to raise funds for play equipment too.

For every £1 raised, a child benefits from an education and school meals for a week.

Why not swap that takeaway coffee today and impact a child’s life instead: https://rippleafrica.org/school-meals/

Since our pre-schools opened more than 4,000 students have passed through them and gone to primary school. Many have been to secondary school and a few even to university!

Primary school teachers have commented that they “can tell a Ripple Africa child” from one who has not attended our pre-schools due to “their advanced ability when starting primary school.”

This is testament to our 27 dedicated pre-school teachers, all of whom are striving to give the best start to the children in their care.

Why not support more children to learn their ABC – and receive a great early years education and school meals?
