Today is a sad day for the local community around Mwaya as we say goodbye to Patrick the tailor. For years Patrick has had his shop at Matete and not only made school uniforms and beautiful outfits for the locals but has sewn many African trousers (and so much more) for the overseas volunteers and visitors who come to visit Ripple Africa.
Patrick was always smiling and so happy to see us when we took in yet another project for him to create. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
