Teachers pack up preschool resources they have made in Malawi

Resources are made

Last month the pre-school teachers were busy making resources and they are super excited to have finished the first set of items.

Using natural materials including bamboo and wooden offcuts from the carpenters shed, the 27 teachers have created some amazing equipment including shape blocks, counting tubes and so much more.

They packed everything up and have taken the resources that they made to their respective pre-schools, ready to start using with the children.

With over 850 children registered across our eight pre-schools, it’s not always easy to find enough resources to accommodate such large class sizes but by using natural resources, means there’s plenty to go around. We’ll share some photos soon of them using them.
