What a hot few days many of us have had and whilst some might have enjoyed a water fight to cool down, we’re excited to be repairing more boreholes and shallow wells in Malawi to help communities access clean water for the essentials, drinking and cooking.

In some villages, households have had to dig holes in the ground to access water to wash their dishes, clothes and to bathe as their nearest borehole is broken. Families will walk to collect enough clean water from the nearest working borehole for drinking but the journey to and from is too much to collect enough for all of their needs.
