Wheelchairs are in constant need for our Disabilities and Rehabilitation project as the majority of the clients that use them, live in areas where the tracks and areas around their house are rocky and dusty. This means that even the more robust wheelchairs are put through their paces.

Mike has been a client for many years now. Matilda provides him regular physiotherapy sessions and we also ensure he has a useable wheelchair.

Recently we noticed that the old one was breaking but thanks to a kind donation, we were able to fix this within a couple of weeks to provide him with a new one.

One of our volunteers is currently making him a new seat pad to provide additional comfort but as you can see, Mike is very happy.
