Regular home visits and group therapy sessions along with the Awareness Campaigns and Teacher Training at schools with students and teachers has contributed to the seeing more children living with a disability be able to attend mainstream school.
Initially run by Matilda, who still supports the Awareness Campaign and Teacher Training days, Loveness has continue to run these events and she was overjoyed to be able to share the news that three learners, all supported through the Disabilities and Rehabilitation project have passed their end of year exams and progressed to the next year group.
One of our longest standing clients Faith will be going into his final year of primary school, Standard 8 whilst Hendrix and Thomson will move into Standard 2. We are really happy to see Evidence graduate from pre-school and he will be starting Standard 1 in September.
