Robert is planting more trees this year. He is a dedicated and very hardworking father of five who has been planting trees with us since 2022.
Since then he has planted more than 14,000 seedlings and Project Coordinator, Sylvia Chigwenembe, said, “His commitment and consistent efforts has made him one of the most productive farmers in the project.”
- 2022 – 2,500 seedlings raised and planted
- 2023 – 4,400 seedlings raised and planted
- 2024 – 7,941 seedlings raised and planted
- 2025 – he has prepared his tree nursery to raise 3,000 seedlings
Sylvia continued, “Mr Phakati’s dedication not only demonstrates his personal commitment but also the success of the project as he is empowering other local farmers to get involved in planting trees.”
