We work with farmers and communities who are planting millions of trees each year, and these provide a sustainable source of timber and firewood for local people.
Our tree farmers also plant indigenous trees and fruit trees to provide food and income for their families.
Our forest conservation team work with 1,800 Forest Conservation Committee members. We are proud that 340 sq.km of forest is naturally regenerating now that they are protected.
Forests not only help in the fight against climate change but they provide habitats for wildlife including monkeys and birdlife.Â
