Last month we shared that students at Malengamazoma Primary School are excited as some of the pawpaw trees in the Standard 6 farm are starting to bear fruit already.
Well we decided that it was a great opportunity to give the students of the Environment Club a taste of what’s to come.
After a training session on the hybrid pawpaw variety and how being shorter makes harvesting easier, we shared some pawpaw fruit. The resounding comments were that it is much sweeter!
