We are happy to announce that works to build additional toilets and washrooms at the girls dormitory at Kapanda Community Day Secondary School have started.

During the school year the dormitory is home to more than 60 girls but they only had four toilets and four washrooms between them. Fonthill Foundation have kindly funded these works to double the facilities. They are also funding more toilets for the school too.

We cannot wait to see the girls reaction when they come back to school in September. It might seem odd but we know they will be delighted as they have previously told us there is often a queue for the bathrooms in the morning. Can you imagine that many girls trying to get ready for school at once?
