For the vast majority of children living in Nkhata Bay District, our fuel-efficient cookstove will be what they associate with as being the normal method of cooking as the project has been running in the District for 10 years.
However, for children in other Districts where we have only been building these cookstoves in recent years, they are still learning about what a Changu Changu Moto fuel-efficient cookstove is.
Nkhotakota District Manager, Getrude Odala, was out with her team and came across these children. She said, “It may not look great but we came across these children trying to construct their own Changu Changu Moto. They were really interested in how it is built.”
