We are delighted to share with you the first report following the distribution of 250 menstrual cups to students in six primary schools, a secondary school, and a local youth group.
Rebecca Manda, Life Skills, Family Planning and Sexual Health Coordinator, received menstrual cup training from Lucy Nkhoma, a Ruby Cup recommended trainer in Malawi.
For anyone who doesn’t know what a menstrual cup is, it’s a reusable menstrual hygiene product which is inserted into the vagina during menstruation. The many benefits include saving money as the menstrual cup can last up to 10 years, less odours, fewer leaks and a longer wear time.
