Fruit tree seedlings and vegetable gardens are growing well in Malawi for our community clubs. They are using Mbeya manure – a combination of ash, maize bran and animal manure which is left for 21 days to ferment – which has seen both the seedlings and vegetables grow much quicker. The seedlings and vegetables are of a much better quality too given the added nutrients they are receiving.
