Can you imagine not having access to clean water to drink, cook with, and bathe in? For thousands of people in Malawi this is case when their borehole breaks. Therefore, we work with the community and District Council to identify boreholes and shallow wells in need of repair.
We then provide funding for the purchase of spare parts to enable district maintenance teams to carry out the repairs. We also provide funding for transport and subsistence costs for the repair teams to enable them to reach the rural communities.
