What a great year the library and literacy team have had including the expansion and development of the Children’s Reading Club.
As of September 2023 we introduced five afternoon classes a week in five different villages. The idea is that we are providing an additional learning space to bridge the English-learning gap between Standards 1 and 4 as well as starting to explore books.
There is also a big thank you to those who read the 2022 Library Report and answered the urgent funding appeal to keep the library running and providing such an important service to all ages of the community. Read and download the full report here.
