Chriss and Loynas are part of Lwana Farmers Club. Chriss is the Lead Farmer and Loynas is the Secretary.
The club was formed in 2019 and the farmers work together to grow the improved orange-fleshed sweet potato.
Francis explained, “The Lwana Farmers Club has transformed their community with orange-fleshed sweet potatoes. With dedicated teamwork and expert guidance, they are able to double their yield and ensure nutritious food for families and surplus for sale.”
He continued, “Their success will not only improve livelihoods but also inspire neighbouring villages to join in, creating a brighter future for all.”
