Today is Earth Day and the theme this year is Restore Our Earth. Originally set up to tackle environmental issues such as climate change and pollution, weather events this year really show that we do need to look after our planet.
Not only did we experience snow in the UK in April but in Malawi they are experiencing heavy rains way passed the usual rainy season months.
In the past couple of weeks roads have been washed away and properties damaged and families have lost crops.
It’s really important that we protect this planet that we live on and look at how we can reduce our emissions. Our fuel-efficient cookstove project allows you to offset your unavoidable emissions it is more than just an offsetting project. We reinvest the carbon offsetting income to build more cookstoves, plant trees and conserve existing forests.
