After a busy morning of learning and playing at pre-school, our little learners enjoy their morning meal of sweet potato and tea before they go home.
Each pre-school has at least three teachers, one of which is in charge each day to ensure the sweet potato and tea are ready on time.
The children queue up to wash their hands, in a somewhat orderly fashion, before taking a seat either outside under the trees or in the classroom.
Each year we cook around 150,000 school meals – and of course, they are cooked on one of Changu Changu Moto fuel-efficient cookstoves.
