Bicycles and charcoal confiscated in forest patrol Malawi

Forest confiscations

Our Forest Conservation team in Mzimba District supported the Forestry Department during the summer with months to carry out patrols.

These roadblocks are set up across Choma Hill and during the summer patrols, 48 bags of charcoal, 10 bicycles and over 200 planks of timber were confiscated.

We are proud that over the years, former charcoal producers and sellers are now involved in forest conservation and tree planting.
