Woohoo, we made the headlines again, this time talking about fish conservation.
We are proud that our Fish for Tomorrow community-led conservation project, which started in Nkhata Bay District in 2011, is leading to increased income and food supplies for fishermen and communities – reflected in the interview with members of one of the Beach Village Committees.
The project helps communities along the lakeshore to protect endangered and economically important fish species, preserving biodiversity and sustaining livelihoods and food security.
Since 2011, we have expanded into Nkhotakota and Salima Districts. Learn more here.
