We recently organised a mini awards ceremony in the UNESCO World Heritage National Park area in Mangochi District to reward volunteer committee members for their hard work on our fish conservation project and encourage them to continue their efforts to conserve cichlids.
17 Beach Village Committees and 11 Village Natural Resource Committees took part and the top winners were Chembe, Mzumba, Mbeya and Namaso Beach Village Committees and Chilombo, Kasankha, Msaka and Msumbi Village Natural Resource Committees.
