Maggie is one of the beneficiaries of the improved sweet potato project. A mother of six, she lives near Mwaya and is grateful to be growing the sweet potatoes so that she can provide her children with breakfast before school.
Maggie received 10 bundles of vines in February and said, “They are growing well and I am excited for my first harvest.”
