New tree planting farmers have been attending pot filling demonstrations in Mzimba District over the past week.
This is a great opportunity for our Tree Planting Coordinators to not only show to fill the planting tubes and lay them out in the tree nursery for easy management, but a chance for them to get to know their farmers better and build up trust.
The farmers will go back to their individual tree nurseries and fill the planting tubes, usually with the help of their family, and then it will be time to sow seeds.
