These bundles of vines might not seem that exciting but they provide so much to farmers, and not just those growing them for food.
Our improved sweet potato project works with multiplication farmers. These farmers ensure that we have an ongoing quality supply of the sweet potato vines to provide to local families.
The multiplication farmers are located in certain areas based on soil fertility and access to water, and they plant the vines in a different way to those farmers who plant them as crops.
