Andrea is 24 and is taking control of his life. He has opened a shop, has learnt maths to understand the finances of his business and he has a girlfriend aged 20 who he is encouraging to finish school before they get married.
Not only all of this but he is encouraging other young men in the community to welcome our Family Planning, Sexual Health and Life Skills project because he understands the value.
He said, “People need to understand that they can take responsibility for the number of children they have and learn that by having fewer children, we can provide them with the clothes, food and education they need.”
Andrea has a bawo (local game) playing area outside his shop. He encourages other young men to come and play whilst listening and learning about how they too can take control of their lives. Learn more about the project here.
