Painting has taken place at preschool in Malawi

Another school maintained

The building team have maintained another of our pre-schools ahead of the new school year starting in September.

There was a tree outside Katenthere Pre-school that needed removing as it was causing some of the walls and floor to crack. These cracks were then repaired and when the building works were complete, the painters re-decorated and our volunteer team supported with the creative painting of animals, numbers, letters, play stations etc.

The children will be returning in a couple of weeks and we can’t wait to see their faces when they arrive back to a newly refurbished classroom.

This pre-school has an enrolment of around 80 children. In July 15 students graduated to start primary school so in September we will be welcoming a new influx of little ones at the pre-school.

Could you support us in providing safe learning environments for children in Malawi? If yes, get in touch today.
